"It's just... The first lottery ticket I bought, I got the jackpot, and..." I wipe the tears from my face. "And I don't think I can win again. Not like I did with you. I don't think I can let you go... But, you're not here anymore, so I have to ask... Would it be okay if I move on? I know that you're probably busy, doing whatever you want up there... I just met this amazing guy, he's sweet and funny... and... smart..."

Emily looks down as she walks out of her parent's TARDIS, and she clutches the art supplies under her coat and glances at the cupcake she stuffed in her pocket. She pushes the door open and slips outside. As she starts to walk, a drop of rain lands on her head.
And another.
And another.
Emily keeps walking and sits herself down onto seesaw in a playground. She takes out the art supplies-a few pieces of paper, tape, scissors and a marker, and starts to cut the paper. A few minutes later, she tapes it and draws on it with a marker. She puts it on, as a party hat. Emily puts it on with one hand, and takes out the cupcake with the other.
